Andrew joined the McCann family in August 2003 to spearhead the launch of McCann HumanCare, the healthcare practice at McCann Erickson, bringing with him over 17 years of advertising and communications experience with an emphasis on OTC and Rx products. He has been the driving force behind the explosive growth of HumanCare over the past few years, adding significant assignments from Pfizer, GSK, Novartis, and Sepracor. Prior to this, Andrew held the title of President and Executive Creative Director at Merkley Newman Harty Partners Healthworks, where he helped developed MNH into one of the country’s fastest growing DTC agencies. At Healthworks, Andrew led consumer healthcare efforts for a broad range of clients including Bristol-Meyers Squibb Company (Glucophage and Aripiprazole), Novartis Corporation (Aredia and Prexige), Pfizer Incorporated (Lipitor), Pharmacia Corporation (Activella), Schering Plough Corporation (Proventil HFA and AsthmaLearningLab.com), Merck & Company Incorporated (merckmedco.com), and TAP Pharmaceuticals (Prevacid).

Andrew also has tremendous creative experience, and holds a BFA from the Syracuse University School of Visual and Performing Arts. He started his career in advertising as a freelance art director at Della Femina and Saatchi & Saatchi, then worked for many years at WPP’s CommonHealth, rising to Managing Partner of S.U.N. Health-Core, where he helped Warner Lambert reposition Rolaids as a natural supplement and developed one of the industry’s first DTC campaigns for Cognex, an Alzheimer’s medication by Parke-Davis.    "
